Amazon Rainforest Fires: Divya Agarwal, Niti Taylor, Arjun Bilani, Urvashi Dholakia Send Their Prayers
TV celebs like Divya Agarwal, Niti Taylor, Arjun Bilani, Urvashi Dholakia, Kavita Kaushik, and Ejaz Khan among others have taken to social media to show their concern for the fire in the world’s largest forest, Amazon
The Amazon Rainforests have been burning from the past 18 days and the scary development has shook everyone. There have been 72,843 fires in Brazil this year, with more than half in the Amazon region, INPE said. That's more than an 80% increase compared with the same period last year. The Amazon is often referred to as the planet's lungs, producing 20% of the oxygen in the Earth's atmosphere, reports BBC.
After Bollywood, TV celebs have been taking to social media to show their concern. Arjun Bijlani: The lungs of our planet is in a critical situation. It was on fire from the past 17 days and no major news media has been covering the fires in the Amazon. Is this how we ensure a better future for the planet? #PrayForTheAmazon
